The Dutch Arabian Horse Association organises 3 shows yearly: 1 ‘D’ show, 1 National ‘C’ show and 1 National Championship show. Although this is a modest increase from the lowest numbers in previous years we are still not back to our usual numbers of yearly foals that lies more around 200 to 250 a year. In the year 2015 the Dutch Registry registered 136 purebred Arabian foals, so far we registered approximately 155 foals for the year 2016. Gideon Reisel, The Netherlands: Your Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa and Your Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa our patron and host of the 2017 WAHO Conference and the entire organising committee, on behalf of the Arabian Horse Registry in The Netherlands I would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for the hospitality of the people of Bahrain and the outstanding organisation of the 2017 WAHO Conference. There were 5 shows, approximately 20 races and 25 endurance races, Arabians compete in all sport disciplines in the Netherlands. There were 4 shows, approximately 20 races and 26 endurance competitions.
